Grandma’s Pickle Recipe
Makes 5 lbs of Pickles
Ingredients:

Cups water |

1/3 |
Cup vinegar |

¼ |
Cup salt |
|

Garlic |
|
|
Dill |
|
|
Heel of rye bread |
|
5 lbs |
Fresh pickles |
Directions:
1. Wash pickles (rinse).
2. Boil water and salt
3. when boiling, add vinegar
4. Pour over pkcles in a crock
5. Add a dish to hold pickles under solution
6. Let sit at least 4 hours
7. Drain.
8. Eat.
9. Refrigerate after 24 hours.
